Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7, titled Terminated, arrives on August 5, 2026 with a mechanical grip on the past and a sharp eye on the future. The update is built around a Terminator 2: Judgment Day collaboration, adding two new Multiplayer modes, a refreshed Nuketown, the Lockdown Battle Royale mode, and the Cronen Squall Assault Rifle through the seasonal Battle Pass. For returning players, the season lands like a steel trap snapping shut: the familiar Call of Duty loop remains, but the new systems immediately tighten around every objective.

New Multiplayer Modes
Operator Skill Overdrive is a free-for-all Multiplayer mode where players collect, upgrade, and combine Operator Skills during a match. The mode works like a forge inside a live battlefield, hammering individual abilities into fusion-grade weapons. Each Operator Skill can be upgraded multiple times to improve its effectiveness. When successful combinations are pulled together, they unlock powerful Fusion Skills. Cooldowns also shrink as a match progresses, so the pace becomes more aggressive rather than defensive.
Hardpoint: Mayhem is a new take on the classic objective mode. Players are randomly assigned one of three battlefield roles that shape how they score and fight.
-
Anchor: built to hold the objective and absorb pressure
-
Rover: designed for movement, flanking, and map control
-
Controller: focused on directing fights and manipulating the objective
Each role comes with a unique loadout, abilities, and scoring objectives. That structure pushes squads to behave less like identical soldiers and more like moving parts in a single machine.
Lockdown Battle Royale Mode
Season 7 also introduces Lockdown, an objective-based Battle Royale mode set on Rebirth Island. Teams compete to capture and defend rotating objectives while respawns stay active throughout the match. The mode turns Rebirth Island into a pressure cooker: rotating objectives become valves that teams must hold open or shut, while persistent respawns keep the heat from ever dropping. Certain objectives become High Value Zones, rewarding double points and creating concentrated team fights where one missed rotation can tilt the scoreboard.

Nuketown Refresh
The classic Nuketown map receives a visual overhaul inspired by its Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 version. The layout remains familiar, but upgraded lighting, improved environmental details, and enhanced textures give the map a modern battlefield finish. Veterans will recognize the angles and sightlines, but the refreshed presentation makes the old arena feel like a new machine wearing a familiar chassis.
Terminator 2 Event and Arcade Rewards
The Terminator 2: Judgment Day celebration gives players rotating daily objectives to earn Cyberdyne Tech points. Progression through the event unlocks more than fifteen themed rewards, including weapon camos, charms, sprays, and the Blackjack — Endoskeleton Operator variant.
The Arcade Event rewards players for participating in Operator Skill Overdrive, Hardpoint: Mayhem, and Lockdown. Players can earn the Jet — Golden Flaw Operator alongside five Epic Weapon Blueprints and other rewards.
Season 7 also introduces COD Points Rush, where weekly missions grant Time-Limited COD Points that can be spent on select Season 7 Store offers before they expire at the end of the season. A Summer Event and Tagging Team Event will appear throughout the season as additional activities.

Battle Pass and New Weapon
The free Battle Pass introduces the Cronen Squall Assault Rifle, a powerful weapon with low recoil and reliable accuracy. The Overload Battle Royale Class is another notable offering, equipping Operators with a Shock Stick that can interrupt enemy attacks. Additional free rewards include Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Vault Coins, and other cosmetics.

The Premium Pass features futuristic Operator Skins including Ether — Cyborg Rebel, Demir — The Mech Hunter, Ripper — Broadcast, and Synaptic Reskin. Weapon Blueprints such as ISO — Neural Bond, AS VAL — Iron Works, Grau 5.56 — Disrupt & Destruct, Einhorn Revolving — Reactor Core, and Cronen Squall — Countermeasure are also included. Ground Forces subscribers receive Raptor — Coerce, MAC-10 — Target Acquired, and Backpack — Target Tracked.
Store Additions and Challenge Pass
The Challenge Pass lets players complete Standard, Special, and Elite Missions to earn Tokens exchangeable for seasonal rewards. Featured rewards include the MX Guardian — Virus Disruptor Weapon Blueprint, Don’t Forget To Feed It Weapon Charm, and additional cosmetics.
The headline Store addition is the It Goes Two event featuring both the T-800 and T-1000 Operators from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Players who unlock both characters can upgrade them to Legendary quality, switch between forms during gameplay, and earn extra bonuses including a Kill Counter watch and unique lobby animations. The event also includes HS0405 — Final Judgement and BP50 — Mimetic Execution Legendary Weapon Blueprints.
Season 7 introduces the Undead Legion Series Armory, featuring Legendary Weapon Blueprints inspired by medieval weapons. The lineup includes the Krig 6 — Revenant Vanguard, FFAR — Revenant Reavers, MG82 — Revenant Warlords, and SKS — Revenant Conquerors. The Store also adds the Cronen Squall — Widow’s Bite Legendary Weapon Blueprint alongside the Lyra — Widow’s Sentinel Operator Skin and other themed rewards.
With its blend of nostalgic crossover material, reworked modes, and new weaponry, Season 7 Terminated gives Call of Duty: Mobile players a dense update that rewards both mechanical skill and event participation.
